Dynegy is a Houston-based Independent Power Producer (IPP) that generates more than 28,000 megawatts and is capable of producing enough energy to power the homes of 23 million U.S. families through a fleet of 46 power generation sites situated in twelve states within the US.
Shaun Anderson has served as Dynegy’s Chief Procurement Officer since May 2015. In the role he is responsible for optimizing and leveraging Dynegy expenditures in excess of $1.2B and ensuring a continuity of goods and services supporting generation sites across 12 states and 6 electric power markets.
Specific responsibilities include: Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Master Data Management, Contract Administration, and Business Analytics. Prior to joining Dynegy Mr. Anderson held key Supply Chain leadership positions for companies within the energy sector (oil & gas) as well as the semiconductor, automotive, and aerospace industries.
Mr. Anderson earned his MBA from Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California Lutheran University. His personal interests include golf, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with his wife Sally and two daughters Scarlett and Savanah.
