Ina Nagel-Schweigert

Since 2013 Ina Nagel-Schweigert is Director Process Excellence in the Global Procurement organization of Novelis Inc, the worldwide leader in rolled aluminum products, based in Atlanta, GA, USA. In this capacity she is responsible for the design, implementation and improvement of Novelis’ global Procurement systems and processes, including their new Supplier Quality Relationship Management program.  Prior to this, Ina held the position as Procurement Work Stream Lead within a global SAP-ERP implementation project.

As a certified Procurement professional with more than 40 years of experience in the industry, Ina has held a wide variety of Procurement leadership roles within Novelis’ German, Swiss and Corporate US organizations. She started her career as Customer Sales Representative and has held expert positions in sales and marketing before joining Procurement.

Ina is married and has two daughters (age 28 and 21). She and her family are German natives who relocated to Atlanta in July 2011. They have Permanent Residence status in the US.

In addition to her engagement with The Atlanta Women’s Foundation, Ina has initiated international fundraising projects and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity as well as other local organizations.
